I highly recommend using Rene and West Coast D & B for your ADU project. My biggest driver is the honesty and integrity of Rene. I’ve worked with many contractors in my years and career and found Rene excellent to work with. My project was a little complicated, 2 story 1200 sqft ADU and large garage attached to it, the property is slopped towards the canyon and required additional engineering, which Rene was able to handle. Communication is key, and Rene is always available (text, phone, email or onsite). His crew and licensed sub-contractors were excellent, I was all up in there questioning things and I’m sure bugging them, but they were all understanding and helped me with my inquiries. His pricing is beyond fair, whether it is the original quote or a change order, I never felt like I was being taken advantage of because of an unforeseen situation or change. I am a very picky (and hard to impress) DIYer, and I don’t do this review thing very often, if ever, but I felt Rene and his crews deserve a shout out, they really did a fantastic job!
